I know that I didn't have the honor of knowing you for so many years. But the times that we did spend together, I was able to recognize that you were a really great man. You were a quiet humble soul with a huge heart. Your energy was amazing. I remember telling Melanie that you were a true athlete and could hang with your boys on the field and on the court (something that I couldn't). My only regret is that I didn't get the opportunity to know you more.
