Obituary for Alexander A. ""Alex"" Mancino

Alexander "Alex" A. Mancino, 84, of Palmer Twp., passed away peacefully in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg on Saturday morning, September 23, 2017. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Antonio and Mary Jane (Petrignani) Mancino. He graduated from Easton High School in 1951 and attended a design school in New York City, where he worked in clothing design for a brief time. Later he worked as a night clerk for the Miami Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ, and also the Playboy Casino as an attendant. More recently, he has been the door greeter at Walmart in Bethlehem for several years. Alex, was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R. C. Church, Easton.

Survivors: He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Curto of Ventnor, NJ; brother, Carl Mancino of Palmer Twp.; nephew, Anthony; great nephews, Carl, Joseph; great niece, Catherine; great great nephews, Angelo, Dakota and great great niece Christine. He was preceded in death by a niece, Christine and great nephew, Anthony.

Services: Visitation, Sunday afternoon, October 22, 2017 from 2-3:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem, PA 18018, followed by a Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m.. burial of ashes will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Easton.
